Nov 15, 1999 - Do to delays from the trip to LISA '99 and a few bugs yet in the base package I need to push the release out until later this week. I know many of you are already looking for the code and I appologize for not having it ready. I want to have the base functioning so that you can at least write a somewhat real application against it rather than fudging the way I have to right now to get it to work. What I am working on right now is the async notification of the events from the card. So when you issue a set hook command it notifies you when it is complete. Right now I have to hard code sleep timers to get it to process through. Other than the async notification all other aspects of the cards appear to be working. I can collect digits, play audio, record audio, dial a call, change hook status, and set the ring count. Some of the high level paramters will not be available in the ALPHA release (i.e. leading edge rather than trailing edge for dtmg tones and change inter digit timings right now) These will be added later. Call analyst will be added later too.
